Young Living Essential Oils Make & Take Party (fda compliant)

Hello Friends!

I hosted the best little make and take party for Young Living Essential oils recently, and thought you might like to benefit from all the planning that went into it! All of this info is calculated for 12 people, so do something fun with your facebook invite and say ONLY 12 SPOTS! I’m including an amazon link to each thing I purchased. Why? Because it’s WAY easier to click click click and have one large box shipped to your house! I am on Amazon Prime, so the shipping was free…even better.

MENU:

Young Living Peppermint Brownies (add a couple drops peppermint to a brownie mix)

Young Living Lavender & Lemon Cheesecake Cookie Cups

Young Living Lavender Lemonade

Young Living Ningxia & Ginger ale (2 packets juice + 2 liter of Ginger Ale over ice)

Cheese & Cracker Tray

Water & Coffee

You will also need plates, napkins, forks and glasses (real glasses for the lemonade)

Preparations:

This party makes 6 items, lip gloss, Thieves cleaner, roll-on, room spray, bath salts, shower melts. It works best to set 5 stations up. Put lip gloss next to the stove, and put Thieves cleaner furtherest from the essential oils.  And speaking of essential oils, they need to all go together, lined up for easy grab and go. I printed a copy of each recipe and also did my best to gather every measuring spoon, utensil and ingredient that would be needed, including water and bowls to mix in. Check out the photos for a little more info on how I set this up.

I also printed off the recipes and put a copy in each of 12 bags. Add a name to the bags for each attendee and set them together to be filled with goodies!

#LOGISTICS

Once your guests arrive, divide them into teams of 2. Put your fastest team on shower melts. These need to be started immediately and go into the freezer. You might want to let the first 2 guests that arrive start this part. We did 2 scents, lime and peppermint. Have team #1 start the lime, then have team #2 come behind and finish the peppermint. No other teams will do this station, but they will take home the goods.

This is the same with lip gloss. It needs to be the 2nd station started, and is run by 2 teams. Team #3 does the lavender and team #4 does the peppermint. No other teams will make lip gloss, but everyone takes home the goods. In our case, this was 4 tubes a piece.

All of the other stations will rotate seamlessly. Go to a station, make the product, move on.

Cost:

I charged $30 for this night. So you should get $360. This pays for all the supplies, food and oils (although that’s just an estimate on the oils).

The Goods:

The recipes:

Get your recipe pdf here that includes all the make and take essential oil recipes! Print 13 copies, one for each bag and one that you cut up and leave at the stations.

The oils:

You need 1 bottle of thieves cleaner and the following essential oils. Make this your own, substitute as needed, the oils listed are the ones called for on the attached pdf of recipes above.

Lime, Lavender, Peppermint, Peace & Calming, Stress Away, Orange, Frankincense, Joy, Lemon, Rosemary, Grapefruit, Ylang Ylang

The supplies:

Vodka is the only ingredient not in this amazon list. Adding it to your room spray helps the oil and water stay integrated. You can pick some up at the local package store, or skip this ingredient if you want.

Note that a few of these products below come in sets of 6, so you will need to buy 2. Everything else is good as is.

(edited 12/16-some of these products are no longer available, and I’m working to update the list, just haven’t had time. So sorry!)

(edited 3/17 – I’ve found the 2 items showing as “unavailable” in the product block  below and listed them out separately at the bottom. It’s the vit E oil and 2oz spray bottles.)

OK that’s it! I would love LOVE LOVE to know how your party goes, and if anything here seems incomplete or confusing. Have a great day friends!!

Overwhelming prospective customers

Maybe I’m missing it but I don’t see any links to Amazon. I’m just wondering what size roller bottles you used? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks so much for sharing all of the recipes and instructions for the name and take party! Great ideas!
I found the links to Amazon but a couple are “no longer available” and the photo is gone. I’m not sure what item was there originally.

Thanks again! I’m looking forward to using all this wonderful info for my own make and take party.
