Things to do in Seaside, Florida: Where we stayed

by Christine · 5 Comments

My Mom, Sister and I went to Seaside, Florida for a totally fab weekend.  Have you ever been there? You MUST go! Seaside is a master planned community full of wonderful cottages, community entertainment, white beaches, bike rides.  Love love love.  You can learn more here.

We stayed in a baby cottage called Motor Court.  Perfect for only a few friends, these are right off the main road, and easy walking distance to everything.  Sweet cottages line every street, you won’t be disappointed.  We chose this one because you could book for only a couple of sleeps.

Party lights lined the pillars by our parking space. I love party lights.

We were welcomed to a perfectly Americana room.  Of course we threw our luggage on the bed and rumpled it up…no bed pictures…

Super duper cool art made by Aaron Foster Designs.

Fresh white paint, colonial blue moulding and vintage accessories = eye candy.

Love this new-old phone.

Really love this Verbena.  umm..hmmm…this stuff was amazing.  Better than any hotel soap…ever…

I love the bright blue, I feel so patriotic!

I have lots more pictures of where we ate, what we did for fun, and cool decorating ideas I snagged up.

…coming soon… :)

I wanna go back…every morning I have dreamed of that lovely omelet and hearty bowl of oatmeal.

What a great mini vacation! Loved getting away from the routine for a few hours. Let’s go again when it is a bit cooler :)

mmmm…a bike ride through those nice shady streets would have been nice today, followed by a blueberry smoothie, followed by a walk on the beach, followed by a cool dip in pool, followed by a very girlie movie…:)
